Should Christians (followers of Christ) celebrate Christ-mass on December 25^th?

No!!!!

Why...Because every Christian should know that the origin of this celebrated Pagan Holiday/festival is rooted in idol worship that was endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church in the 4th century. Today it is endorsed by carnal, luke warm, and some unaware Christians with its ungodly man-made traditions and customs such as:

• The LIE that Christ was born on the 25^th.
• The LIE of Saint Nicholas, AKA: Santa Claus.
• Christmas Trees (Jeremiah 10:1-4, Isaiah 40:19-20).
• Holly & Ivy (homage to spirits for fertility)
• Mistletoes (used by druid priest to cast spells)
• Wreaths (another pagan worship custom)
• The Mass: Instituted and practiced by the Roman Catholic Church in an attempt to crucify Christ again, and again, and again…

These and other man-made traditions make the word of God none effect.

No matter how hard men and women try to make this particular day seem like Jesus is the reason for this season the factual truth remains the same. The 25^th of December originated long before the “Christian era” as a Pagan festival and its spirit of idolatry is plainly seen today and is undeniable.

(God says that we are to worship Him in spirit and "truth").

Born-again Spirit filled Disciples of Christ that are led by and taught by the Spirit of God should understand the times that we are living in and act accordingly. Not being conformed to this world.

Conformed:

1. to act in accordance or harmony; comply (usually fol. By to): to conform to rules.
2. to act in accord with the prevailing standards, attitudes, practices, etc., of society or a group: One has to conform in order to succeed in this company.
3. TO BE OR BECOME SIMILAR IN FORM, NATURE OR CHARACTER.

Synonyms – yield, agree, consent, correspond, adapt, adjust, accommodate.

James 4:4 

Ye adulterers and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Here is a commentary by Adam Clark on this passage of scripture:

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses - The Jews, because of their covenant with God, are represented as being espoused to him; and hence their idolatry and their iniquity in general, are represented under the notion of adultery. And although they had not since the Babylonish captivity been guilty of idolatry; according to the letter; yet what is intended by idolatry, having their hearts estranged from God, and seeking their portion in this life and out of God, is that of which the Jews were then notoriously guilty. And I rather think that it is in this sense especially that St. James uses the words. “Lo! They that are far from thee shall perish; thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.” But perhaps something more than spiritual adultery is intended. See James_4:9.

The friendship of the world - The world was their god; here they committed their spiritual adultery; and they cultivated this friendship in order that they might gain this end.

Whosoever - will be a friend of the world - How strange it is that people professing Christianity can suppose that with a worldly spirit, worldly companions, and their lives governed by worldly maxims, they can be in the favor of God, or ever get to the kingdom of heaven! When the world gets into the Church, the Church becomes a painted sepulchre; its spiritual vitality being extinct.”

 Romans 13:11-14

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: LET US THEREFORE CAST OFF THE WORKS OF DARKNESS, AND LET US PUT ON THE ARMOR OF LIGHT

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantoness   not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and MAKE NOT PROVISION FOR THE FLESH, TO FULFIL THE LUST.”

In times past God winked at our ignorance in promoting and partaking of idolatry and this pagan Holiday. He has always allowed people and nations to walk in their own ways. But now He commanded all men to repent (turn from sin) and believe the Gospel.

Saints…Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness:

2Corinthians 6:14-18

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

To my dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus that read this article, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that those that have ears to hear would hear the Spirit of God. Let us follow Jesus without the camp bearing His reproach. Lets take up our cross daily come out of Babylon and follow Him who has the words of eternal life. Having faith in God not being partakers of this Babylonian system lust, and excess delicacies, which are temporal and pleasing to the flesh. But let us desire a better country that is heavenly which God has prepared for us.

Enduring outside the camp on the strait and narrow way which leadth unto eternal life where God our Father has promised to receive us, supply our daily need, keep us, guide us, heal us, and empower us to preach the Gospel to the saving of the souls to them that are lost. As we go forth preaching the Gospel, which is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ unto salvation, we pray that men will truly repent and believe.

We proclaim in the gospel message daily Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Saints…Time is closer then when we first believed and perilous times are ahead according to scripture so please do not get caught left in Babylon partaking of her pagan and superstitious rites, observances, false worship, sins, and abominations against God.

1 Corinthians10:21 "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils:  ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils".

Luke 9:23-24 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
