The case and charges against the
Duke Lacrosse young men seem to have been bought in error, but don’t get carried away with calling these young men good,
upstanding citizens, hero’s and role models.
They were having a drunken
party with strippers. According to the word of God they were committing sin against God: drunkenness, fornication, and reveling.
Jesus said “That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed
adultery with her already in his heart.
1Corinthians 6:9-10: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
It is a good thing that if these
young men did not commit a crime against the young lady they will not be prosecuted and spend 30 years incarcerated.
The tragedy is out of all of the
speeches I have heard from these young men not once did I hear mention of repentance (turning from sin) toward God for sinning
against Him which leads to salvation of the soul. Jesus said: I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise
perish.
Without true repentance and faith
towards God. These young men will spend eternity in hell fire, which is much worst then 30years in prison. I pray that someone
tell them that they need to repent (turn from sin) and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Be a doer of the word of God and
not a hearer only.
I also pray that the young ladies
involved in this case repent and believe the gospel to the saving of their souls in Jesus mighty name.
