Mormons

Who are they?

They are a Cult. A cult is a perversion, a distortion of biblical Christianity and/or a rejection of historic teachings of the Christian Church.

What do they believe?

False, strange, teachings that cannot be found in the Bible and some of them cannot even be found in the book of Mormons that was published in 1830. Here are some of their beliefs:

·        Satan and Jesus are Spirit brothers.

·        Black people are the rebellious angels that did not fight with Jesus against Satan.

·        God was once a man and has many wives.

·        Salvation by works to become a god.

·        The blood of Jesus was not necessary for salvation and forgiveness of sins.

·        God had sexual relationship with Mary.

·        Marriage is essential to men for salvation.

·        That man is god in the making.

·        Belief in many gods.

But the Holy scriptures declare One True God.

Isaiah 43:10: Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 44:6-8:Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God.

And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].

The Mormons declare many gods and they fall into idolatry.

1Corinthians 8:5-6 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many. (That are so by name, though not by nature; who are called so in Scripture, as angels and magistrates, or by men, who give them such names, and account them so).

Mormons believe that no blood is necessary for salvation and forgiveness of sin.

The scriptures declare:

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Rom 3:24-28:  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Mat 26:27-28: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

The Mormons false beliefs and plans for salvation is what the Apostle Paul referred to as another gospel.

2Corinthians 11:4; For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].
