The proclamation to the whole world, which is lost and hell-bound because of sin, but through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ alone salvation, is at hand.

1Corinthians 1:18-31:

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

The scriptures declare in John’s gospel: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”.

From eternal glory to flesh, to the cross, to the grave,  to resurrected life and ALL power in Heaven and earth.

He (Jesus Christ) made amends for our sins on the cross as the scriptures declare while we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly.  This so we could be pardoned and reconciled to God.  Jesus declared that He is the only way to the Father and if anyone attempted to come another way he was a thief and a robber. The atoning sacrifice on the cross could only be made by Him who knew no sin (Jesus) that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

To the unbelieving, ungodly, proud, unholy, wicked, profane, lawless, disobedient, mockers, lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, blasphemers, wise of this world, adulterers, fornicators, those who are unclean, lascivious, practice witchcraft, sorcerers, murderers, drunkards, revelers, homosexuals, lesbians, thieves, unthankful, ungrateful, abominable, whoremongers, idolaters, and all liars, the preaching of the cross is foolishness and contemptible.

In fulfilling the great and only commission given by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature in order that they might be saved I frequently encounter the reproachful disdain of those mentioned above when Jesus is preached. To them it is foolishness for many different reasons i.e., their eyes are blinded, they love their sins, they believe another gospel, another spirit, or even another Jesus.

But unto us which are saved it is the power of God All mighty to cleanse us of our sins, to remove them as far as the east is from the west.

The power to:

  • Save us from eternal damnation
  • Save our family
  • Heal our bodies
  • Anoint us for service
  • Enable us to endure to the end
  • Help us overcome the wicked one
  • Bind and loose in Jesus mighty name
  • Walk in newness of life
  • Be filled with the Holy Spirit
  • Be conformed to His image
  • Cast down vain imaginations
  • Fight the good fight of faith
  • Reign in life
  • Love our neighbors
  • Establish God’s word on earth
  • Bless the Lord at all times
  • Humble ourselves
  • Be led by His Spirit
  • Walk as He walked
  • Pray without ceasing
  • Be bold in the Lord and tell everyone about Jesus
  • Be strong in faith
  • Grow in Faith
  • Walk by faith and not by sight
  • Love our enemies
  • Forgive those who trespass against us
  • Resurrects us
  • Sanctify us
  • Redeem us
  • Justify us
  • Fill us with divine wisdom and spiritual understanding
  • Equip us
  • Teach us
  • Deliver us from anything as He will for His glory
  • Complete the work He has begun in us
  • Be a doer of the word
  • Do all things through christ who strengthens us

Except a man is "Truly" born again (By the Spirit of God), he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Romans 8:9b; Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
