Preaching the gospel is “still” the most effective way to reach the lost according to Him that saves souls. There is still POWER in the preaching of the gospel. It is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.

We preach the Holy Spirit draws men, convicts them, they repent and believe and call upon Him, and “THE POWER OF GOD” saves them. Not the church programs (bowling night, singles retreat, couples retreat, addiction programs, camp meetings, financial success seminars, vocational programs, men ministries, women ministries, ministries and events for the sake of ministries.

Mark16: 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Luke 9:23-25 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Lets lose our lives in this world in order that we may be save it. Dear Lord help us (me) lose our life, and give us (me) strength to endure to the end in Jesus mighty name.

2Timothy 3:1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

I had to do a little study as to what principals this school was founded on. The reason being is that I was getting a feeling that this place was started on Christian values. This is what I found.....North Carolina Central University, a state-supported liberal arts institution, was chartered in 1909 as a private institution and opened to students on July 5, 1910.

William's sign on his cross states those that are in danger of hell's fire. On that sign were homosexuals and muslims. This created a stir in the crowd that ended up being the majority of homosexuals and muslims. I was very surprised to see how many were of these groups that are bound for hell if they do not repent. William and I have different styles of witnessing but we have the very same purpose and that is to seek and lead those to salvation that are lost.

The school should be ashamed of this "false advertising". Somewhere from the time of Dr. Shepard and now that "truth" was lost. The plan that Dr. Shepard had was lost. Most of the people that we encountered yesterday were lost and on their way to eternal destruction in HELL!!! I feel that the service is a "disservice" because the professors are filling these kids heads with trash. A common question from a college kid is "who wrote the Bible" then they will say "man wrote the Bible so why are you going to believe it"? This is what college professors are teaching. Now this is what these ignorant people should be teaching....

Festival "for the Eno" (River) / 4^th July Durham NC 2009

Taking a page from God’s messengers of old I stood at the “gate” main entrance of the Eno Festival for five hours proclaiming the word of the Lord that all men and women everywhere are commanded to forsake their sins and believe the gospel.

Even though many openly rejected the preaching of God’s truth He is still merciful and willing that none should perish. Henceforth He commissions the born-again believer to go into the world and preach the good news and warn the wicked that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;

In the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt away with fervent heat, “the earth” also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

This festival is promoted as a time of fun near the river with plenty of activities with an “ environmental or cultural connection to the river”. When in actuality it is promoting “IDOLATRY” worshipping and reverencing the creation and not the creator. Now I know some will say wait a minute William we should be good stewards of our environment. To this I would say yes be a good steward not an idolater. The first commandment states, “Thou shall have no other gods before me”.

The majority of the people I have encountered over the years at this event are “God haters”. Yes they openly reject a living God who commands obedience to His holy word (the bible), and some have fabricated a god in there own mind who they say is a god of “all love” and allows you to be you and will not cast them into hell for there sins.

I have also notice over the years that this is an event that attracts a large number of lesbians, openly displaying their vile unnatural affections for one another. Some of them come with “kids”.  Dear lord I pray you send forth laborers into your harvest to lift up your standard of holiness whereby such little kids who are being indoctrinated into this lifestyle will hear the “true” word of the Lord and thereby be able to properly discern right from wrong and good from evil in Jesus mighty name.

Romans 1:24-26, 28 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”

Out of the few confessed to be “Christians” I met at the gate there was one lady and her young son (who said his dad lead him to Christ recently and he was born –again) went in and soon returned and told me they had to leave for God’s present was not in there. As I explained to her that we carry the light of Jesus in us to these dark places she agreed but said they could find a better place to spend the 4^th of July holiday to celebrate and relax.

Many of those who attended seem to be offended and outraged by my signs and cross that boldly says across the top JESUS SAVES and then list all those that are “endanger” of hells fire unless they repent. The other sign says that God commands all men to repent and stop sinning (Jesus told the adulterer who was forgiven and the man healed at the pool called Bethesda go and “sin no more”). Some said what I was doing is hatred which my reply was no its love. I love you so much I don’t mind your hatred toward me warning you of God’s wrath to come.  There were several men and women who were in my face shouting that I was disgusting and calling me all kinds of names. As I continued to share the gospel with them and try to reason with them a little small voice in the back of my mind or spirit would say these are those who Christ died for, and so were you. That little small voice motivated me to continue preaching and sharing the word of life.

I had a long one-on-one conversation with a lady that said she was a Christian, went to church regularly, spoke in tongues, and was filled with the Holy Spirit, but had a problem with sex (adultery) and was being tempted as we spoke. I told her God commands her to stop sinning, and that if she didn’t she was going to hell if she died in her sins, and that she was a hypocrite not a follower of Christ. She denied that she was going to go to hell for her sins because she was human. I told her being human was not a sin, and that the scripture says in 1 Peter 1:14-16

"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation (Living); Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy".

She left to enter the festival declaring out loud that she was still going to heaven. She soon returned after finding the admission was $15.00 and allowed me to resume sharing the scriptures with her. I took her to 1 Corinthians 10:13

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear is".

I explained to her that temptation is not a sin it is the acting on the temptation, which is sin but God will give the believer a way to escape the temptation at the very moment they are tempted. The believer have to at that moment decide to take the way of escape and continue to follow Jesus or act on the temptation fulfilling the lust of their heart which leads to hell.

She then asked me to pray for her that God would deliever her from fornication.. I prayed that she would have no more pleasure in sin and that she would hate what God hates and love what God loves and that as she put her trust in Jesus he would keep her from falling into sin. Angela…thanked me and said that she was going home to spend some time with the Lord. Glory to God.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

I thank God for using this broken vessel to preach Jesus this day to the many who are lost, and that His living word that is sharper than any two edged sword pierced through the self-delusions, and denial, of the hearers and reaches that inner man that was created to serve the living God. And those that would heed to the gospel message of Jesus would repent and believe to the saving of their souls.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Once again at the annual JW’s deception convention there were thousands of what I believe for the most part are people who have been deceived following the pernicious ways of the Watch tower society heretical teachings. Such teachings as Jesus was and is Michael the arch angel, there is no real hell, salvation is by works through their organization and the laundry list of lies go on.

As I stood at the main entrance preaching and warning those attending, exposing the lies of the Watchtower society many “seemed” to ignore the warning. But praise be to God His word does not return void. There was one man in the parking lot named Mark who was getting out of his car with his family and I called out to him and said, hey man you in the brown shirt and glasses don’t lead your beautiful family down this road of destruction. He was putting on a necktie and yelled back to me…I’ll be right there. As he approached I didn’t know was he coming in peace or anger. But praise be to God he said he came to found out if what I was preaching was true. He stated that the parking attendants were telling everyone not to pay me any attention and go on inside.

As I shared with him the lies of the watchtower society and the truth about Jesus he stated that he was Baptist and his wife was raised a JW. I encouraged him to be a workman of the word of God and search the scriptures to see if what I was saying was true. I also encouraged him to ask God to give him wisdom to share the truth of His word with his wife and that the eyes of her understanding will be open. Especially since the JW’s are forbidden to read any other religious writings. Mark expressed his grief with the JW’s not wanting to lesson and reason with me with the scriptures. I explained to him that that is how a cult operates, and he as head of his household need to rely on the Spirit of God to help rescue his family from the JW teachings of the devil. Please pray for Mark and his family.

A few other attendees I had the opportunity to share with refused to believe that the watchtower Society teaches that Jesus is Michael the archangel. They also didn’t have a response to Jesus stating in their New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures that He is Jehovah God. (Revelation 1:8, and Rev. 22:13). When they are taught that Jesus is not Jehovah.

The “living” word of God went forth, men and women were warned to forsake the belief in another Jesus, and another gospel, and come to believe in the risen Christ Jesus who is Jehovah and the only way to eternal in life.

Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Praise the name of the Lord… last week I spent two days in Philadelphia preaching Jesus, and since my return to Durham Wednesday evening it has been almost non-stop hitting the streets with the gospel.  If the past week is any indication of what lies ahead this spring and summer for ministry…to God be the glory. This past trip to Philly was twofold: 1. To minister to my blood Brother Aaron in Prison who is serving a 30-year sentence (Please agree with me in prayer for his salvation). 2. To minister the gospel of Jesus on the streets I grew up in.

I spent most of my time preaching on the streets downtown at 8^th & Market St. Philly is a unique place to minister at; the population is approximately 1.5 million. Then you have the daily influx of thousands of people every day from the surrounding counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Most of these people according to the scriptures are lost and on the Broad road to destruction, and need to hear the gospel of Jesus the risen Christ. It’s not unusual to see people preaching on these streets, or passing out some type of religious material. Its what they are preaching or promoting that matters. There are the Black Hebrew Israelites, the Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and others preaching another gospel and/or another Jesus.

As I was lifting up the name of Jesus and proclaiming that no man could be saved from their sins other then by His name, and that God commands all men everywhere to repent. The power in His name was manifested.

Some who were lost were draw by the Spirit of God to hear the living word, such as Mary & Matt (two heroin addicts I prayed for). Some were encouraged to cease from being lukewarm Christians and return to their first love and become hot again. Many were warned of the impeding judgment of a Holy God to those who continue in their sins. They also heard of His grace and mercy that He extends to the just and unjust. 

Some who promoted and preached another Jesus, and another gospel were rebuked and corrected in knowing the truth that there is only one that is able to save them from their sins and that is the risen Lord Jesus. Not another Jesus who was just a prophet, or a Jesus that wasn’t God but just a good man. 

The Lord Jesus tells us as believers to go and preach (Herald) the gospel. I find that street preaching like this especially in metropolitan areas is most effective in reaching the masses with the word of God. For faith comes by hearing and hearing the “word of God”. How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher. Let’s stick to the all-knowing Lord Jesus plan and go into the hedges and highways and compel them to come in His house, which is the Kingdom of God not brick and mortar edifices.

Upon arriving back to Durham I hooked up again with Brother Terry Shuff and for the next few days and some late nights we hit the streets, and bus station ministering the word of God and ministering free food to those in need. As the weather warms up more people will be coming out and spending more time outdoors. Where we plan to greet them day and night with the gospel of Jesus Christ. God willing.

2Peter 3:9-15 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation.

I arrived at Bike week on Thursday at 4:00pm. After setting up the travel trailer and repairing a major water leak on it I was able to hit Main Street at 9:45pm. I hooked up with the Raven Ministry team and for the next few hours it was all about preaching Jesus to those on the Broad road to destruction. For this cause we were sent to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins through true repentance and faith in God.

On Friday morning Pastor Don and his wife Robin from Raven Ministries and I hit Main Street to preach the gospel and pass out gospel tracts. The first young lady I met and offered a gospel tract to was Crystal Johnson. I asked her did she know Jesus and was she saved. Crystal said she knew of Jesus but was not saved. I began to minister to her salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance toward God that leads to eternal life. Afterwards I asked Crystal did she want to be saved. She said yes. I asked her did she know how to pray, and if she did… for her to pray to Jesus in her own words to save her. As Robin and I stood with Crystal she asked Jesus to forgive her of all her sins, to help her, and to come into her life and save her. Halleluiah. After admonishing Crystal in the things of the Lord Robin and Crystal exchanged phone numbers and Crystal said she would love to go to Church with her Sunday and bring her young daughter. Praise the name of Jesus for saving grace.

The fishing for men was awesome. As we preached the gospel the Holy Spirit was drawing the men. Pastor Don and his wife Robin seem to always have some fish on the hook of God’s word ministering and praying with them.

By Friday afternoon Michael Siemer, his wife Marie, little Mike, Brian O’Connell, Ralph, and Dean from Inverness, Florida had arrived at our camp at the International Church parking lot. From here we launch our daily day and night mission of preaching Jesus. Having compassion on some making a difference, and others trying to save with fear declaring the righteous judgment and terror of the Lord. By Saturday morning Pat O’Connell, his daughter Jennifer, and John from New Bern, North Carolina had joined us in harvesting souls for the kingdom of God.

God allowed us to have many more ministering opportunities in the mist of this idolatress event were many come to revel in their sins. For the most part many of these lost souls do not fear God and have no “reality” of the ultimate penalty of sin…eternal death in Hells fire.

But thanks be to God for drawing men to Himself through His Spirit, and who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to “witness” that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jude 1:21-23 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Seven days on the front line in the harvest field at what is called the wickedest reveling party in the USA.  Along with many other Soldiers of Christ from across this nation who through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ answered the call to Go into the world and preach the gospel. I stayed at Celebration Church in Metairie. They opened up their doors at one of their facilities for Raven Ministries and many of the regulars who descend on this annual event. I appreciate the members of this Church for allowing us to use this facility free of Charge. The facility is equipped with large rest rooms, full kitchen, sleeping quarters, and areas for praise, worship, and prayer. Normally throughout my travels it is hard to find a church that would even let you park in there parking lot while you spend time in there City ministering to the lost.

I’m blessed again to hook up with Michael Siemer and his family, Brian O’Connell, Ricky Nash, and his wife Shawna (her first Mardi Gras crusade) Mike Awe, Joe Hupchick, Ben and Mary House, Christina House, my Brother in the Lord Terry Shuff who also came down from Durham and many other Brothers and Sisters.

The battle for the lost souls here was fierce.  Spiritually we know we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. The lost souls not be known to them are being held slave to there sins. John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

But by the “Power of God” we have actually seen some that have heard the word and receive it be set free from the bondage of sin. I have shared the word of God to hundreds and preached to thousands of people here and wish I had the time to share all of the good, bad, and ugly that goes along with harvesting souls in a wicked and immoral place and event such as this. William and I ran across Lionel in the French Quarter last Thursday. Lionel is a 50 year old homeless man that spent 21 years of his life in the Angola Prison. He had been out of prison since 2000 but the enemy has worked in his mind to keep him in the bondage of prison in his mind. He keeps the years in prison as an excuse for his life not being productive today. He told us that he was on fire for Jesus while in prison but then he returned to his old habits when he got out. ("Jail-house religion") Lionel also used the excuse of losing everything from Hurricane Katrina for not living a proper lifestyle today.

William ministers to Lionel countering all his excuses with what the WORD says! Lionel continued to make excuses and William continued to hammer him with the Word of God.
 William prays for Lionel after both us poured the Word into him. After a while we told Lionel that now he had a decision to make. I told him that he could go the opposite direction than we were going and continue to make excuses or that he could come with us back to our camp. I told him that there he would get three meals a day and most of all that he could soak in the presence of the Lord for the next 5-6 days. He then said "I am going with you" and he stayed with us Thursday and Friday night. He was able to get showered, shaved, and get all new clothes while with us.He hit Bourbon Street with us on Friday night. He passed out tracts and was able to listen to different team members minister the Gospel.

We spent the first day and night in Jackson Square and on Bourbon Street warning those whom Christ died for of His judgment that is coming upon all those who insist on sinning against the Holy God.

In Jackson Square the first thing a person encounters in front of and all around the Catholic St Louise Cathedral is all of the tarot card and psychic readers promoting hope by devilish means which is a abomination unto the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Above are some pictures of the psychic readers I preached the gospel to and instead of believing the truth in the death, burial, resurrection, holiness, and call to repentance toward God the pyschic in the picture standing believes in another Jesus that lives in everyone, everything, and who is not God, but was just a good person who she says she likes.

Mardi Gras / New Orleans, Louisiana 2009

Psalms 97:9  For thou, LORD,art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

I am bound for New Orleans Louisiana, God willing for eight days being obedient fulfilling the great commission to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This day salvation has come to this wicked City among many other Cities. For the scriptures declare behold today is the day of salvation. Jesus said that he did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance proclaiming that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. With this charge I GO to preach the gospel to the lost at Mardi Gras.

 The Church of Jesus Christ is a living “organism” with Jesus Christ being the Head and Corner Stone. With the foundation already laid I hooked up with Terry Shuff and we had “church” and ministered to the people needs this Sunday outside in a parking lot at the corner of Holloway Street & Hyde Park. So many of the people we minister to (serve) ask us where is our church “building” I normally take my foot and drag it across the ground and say right here in the streets your standing in it. It’s the “Church” were the doors never close and for the most part where we can be found through out the week at different corners, parking lots, or wherever the Holy Spirit leads ministering the gospel, in addition to supplying some needs to the lost and poor.

“Church service” consisted of distributing free boxes of food, gospel tracks, and one–on one, or one-to- many preaching the living word of God. In proclaiming the gospel to many of the people who came out today. It seems like the majority of those I ministered too either was backslidden or false converts to Christianity (Believed they were saved at some point, but never stop living for the devil). So the theme of my preaching today was that God just doesn’t want them to confess their sins to Him (Roman 10:9-10), but He wants, and commands them to forsake their sins (Acts 17:30), which is true repentance. And it’s only then that He (God) can not only save them from eternal hells fire but He also will give them away to escape those sins (1 Corinthians 10:13).

I also expounded to them Titus 3:5 where its not by works of righteous that a person is saved or by the outward submersion in water baptism but its by the renewing of the Holy Spirit according to God’s mercy.

For when a person truly repents, believe the gospel, and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus the Spirit of God will super naturally enter into that person, dwelling on the inside of them and they will experience His undeniable present and peace. There desires will change from wanting to serve the devil to wanting to serve the True and Living God more.

One of the young ladies present said to me well I’m ready to be born-again but when I further share with her about the Holiness of God and without holiness no man can see God. She concluded that she wasn’t quite ready to forsake all of her sins, but she thanked me for opening up the scriptures to her in away she never knew before. I proceeded to tell her and those around listening that today was the day of salvation, the Kingdom of God was at hand to them and if they truly repented and believe the gospel the God who saves would hear there prayers and save them from their sins.

There were so many people ministered to today physical and spiritually. Thank God for allowing us to be fellow laborers with Him, for some planted, and some watered but it is He that gets the increase, It is He that adds to His Church and it is He that receives all the glory.

1Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Brother Terry Shuff and I made our rounds through a few neighborhoods to distribute a box of food to an elderly lady in the projects, and had the opportunity to minister the word of God to her son and his girl friend. Once they told me that they were not living in Christ Jesus my message for them was straightforward; If they were not born –again Jesus said that they were serving their Father the devil, and that the devil plan for them was to spend eternity in hell’s fire. But God’s plan for them was to live eternity in His kingdom, but in order to do that they “Must” forsake there sins and believe in Jesus.

We made numerous stops through the hood ministering the word of God to drug addicts, prostitutes, and residents who live there. As we were riding down one street a guy standing on the corner yelled and ask did we have any more bread. Terry yelled at him and said yes and that he was going to turn around. When we pulled around the corner from where he was and opened up the back of the van to give him some bread people all of a sudden began coming from every direction. We began distributing the bread, candy, coats, handmade knitted hats, scarfs, and warm gloves while taking the time to minister the word of God and pass out gospel tracks. The clothes, and gloves were left over from the coats, and gloves give away Terry and Eileen did on Saturday. One of the people who got some items went back home and brought some items from her house for us to give away. Praise God.

This was a sweet ordained time of God for us to be ministering His word at this spot. Most of the people there were familiar with Terry’s van that has soul patrol lettered on the back door. Some even thought he was the police when he first started cruising through the neighborhood some weeks ago. But now when they see him they call him Pastor Terry. I kid him and call him Police Pastor.

Before we left this location this one prostitute that we have been ministering to came up to us and said the name she gave us wasn't her real name. Let me tell you my real name so that when you pray you can be really praying for me. We believe the Holy Spirit is drawing this lady to the Father for she seem to be real receptive to God’s word and as she would hear the word her eyes would swell up with tears and you could see her humility and brokenness. I ensured her that if she would repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ He will not only deliver her from hell but also from her sins.

Before we called it a day we were able to stop some more people on the streets and distribute bread for the belly and the Bread of Life (Jesus).

I Thank God for calling and using us to minister His living word to the lost whom He died for. I also thank those who donated funds, the food, and clothes that were given to those in need.  And I thank God for allowing my Brother Terry and my paths to cross a few years ago in New Orleans and now team up in Durham a City in need of a Savior name Jesus Christ.
